Glory 580 Pro Vs. Hyundai Tucson FWD- A Comparison

We are back with another exciting comparison of two cars. In this piece, we will compare upcoming Glory 580 Pro with Hyundai Tucson Front Wheel Drive (FWD), which is top of the line variant. The Glory by DFSK is all set to make an entry in the local market. Meanwhile, Tucson is slowly gaining its place. 

The Tucson and KIA Sportage have surely revolutionized the SUV market in Pakistan; subsequently, the launch of Glory Pro will be another exciting addition. So, without any further delay, here it is the comparison between these two vehicles.

Engine and Power: 

Hyundai Tucson comes with 2000cc 16-Valve 4 Cylinder engine, producing 155hp at 6200 RPMs and 196nm Torque at 4000 RPMs. Meanwhile, Glory Pro has 1500cc Turbocharged engine, which produces 150hp at 5600 RPMs and 220Nm torque at 4000 RPMs. This shows that, although Pro’s engine is smaller in cc, but as it is turbocharge, it produces almost similar horsepower and more torque than Tucson.

Transmission: 

DFSK has installed Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) transmission in Glory Pro 580, while Tucson comes with 6-speed Automatic transmission.

Drive Variants: 

Glory will come only with Front Wheel Drive (FWD), while Tucson has FWD as well as All Wheel Drive (AWD) option. 

Dimensions and Exterior:

The Glory Pro is 4680mm long, 1845mm wide and 1715mm high, while Tucson has 4480mm length, 1850mm width and 1660mm length. This means Glory Pro is longer, and higher than Tucson, while 5mm less broad than Tucson. Furthermore, Glory has a ground clearance of 200mm against Tucson’s 172mm. 

Both cars have LED front lights, and corner lights, however, Glory Pro comes with LED fog lamps, which are conventional in Tucson. Furthermore, Glory will have Electronic and Heated, Auto Retractable with 360-degree Surround View Camera side-view mirrors. Meanwhile, Tucson has electronic and heated side mirrors.

Additionally, both vehicles have 18-inch alloy rims.

Interior: 

The Glory will come with a 9-inch infotainment system, compared to Tucson’s 10.1-inch screen. The DFKS car will have leather seats, while Tucson FWD has fabric ones. 

The DFSK will come in both 5 and 7-seater capacity, while Tucson has a sitting capacity of 5 people. 

Seating Capacity: 

Hyundai Tucson comes with 5-person seating capacity, meanwhile, Glory Pro has the capacity of 7-person capacity.

i-Talk: 

One of the major differences between these cars are the i-Talk feature in Glory Pro. Through this feature you can open/close front windows, sunroof, switch the music on/off, and control the car’s AC temperature. You can also answer/reject your phone calls and open/close car’s GPS through your voice command.  While on the other hand, Tucson doesn’t have this feature.

Key Feature Differences: 

Tucson comes with wireless charging, which will not be available in Glory Pro. Meanwhile, Glory will have parking sensors, which Tucson doesn’t have.

Price: 

The expected price of Glory Pro is Rs4,400,000, while Tucson FWD’s rate is Rs5,099,000.
