In a bid to give a sigh of relief to the public, the Government of Pakistan has decreased the prices of petroleum products keeping in view the decrease of oil prices globally.
Note here that the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority had forwarded a summary to the petroleum division and urged the authority to slash the price of petrol by PKR 6 rupees and that of high-speed diesel by PKR 7 rupees. The new prices are as follow:
Petrol: PKR 111.60 per liter
High-Speed Diesel: 122.26 PKR per liter
Light-Speed Diesel: PKR 77.51 per liter
Kerosene Oil: PKR 92.45per liter
The price of petrol has been slashed by PKR 5 per liter and that of high-speed diesel by PKR 5 per liter as well. Moreover, the rate of both light-speed diesel and Kerosene oil has been decreased by PKR 7 per liter. The new prices will come into effect from 1st March 2020.
Previous prices are as below:
Petrol: PKR 116.60 per liter
High-Speed Diesel: PKR 127.26 per liter
Light Diesel: PKR 84.51 per liter
Kerosene Oil: PKR 99.45 per liter
