In a fresh development, it is being reported that the government will increase the rates of CNG by PKR 15 per kilo.

As per the details, the hike in rates will affect the CNG stations in KP, Sindh, and Balochistan the most, while, on the other hand, the gas stations in Punjab will not be affected that much as almost all the gas stations have converted from CNG to LNG.

The new price of CNG is likely to come into effect from this current week. While talking to the media, CNG stakeholders said that these are deliberate efforts to convert the gas stations of three provinces to LNG from CNG in an aim to give a huge benefit to LNG terminal operators.
