HRL Motors Brings Zotye Z100 in Pakistan

Here in Pakistan, we don’t get many new comers into the Auto Industry, the widely believed notions in this regard indicate that this sector has been predominantly under the control of local auto assemblers, but HRL (Habib Rafiq Group) motors hopes to change that because they just released a compact Chinese assembled hatchback called the Zotye Z100 into Pakistan. At first, glance, if you think that the Zotye Z100 looks incredibly similar to the seventh generation Suzuki Alto then you’d be right because the Zotye Z100 is actually based on the underpinnings of the 7th gen Alto. HRL motors have teamed with the Chinese company Zotye to introduce new affordable Chinese cars in Pakistan, as HRL motors states on their website.

At Present we are launching different variants of Zotye Brands Imported (CBU) Cars along with LCV, Mini Trucks etc.

The Zotye Z100 comes equipped with a EURO 4 compliant 1.0 liter 12 valve inline-3 engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission that produces 68bhp at 3500rpm and a max of 66.4 lb-ft of torque, this allows the Z100 to reach a top speed of 150km/h. HRL also claims that the Z100 can return 18.9 km/l that combined with the 35liter fuel tank should make for a theoretical driving range around 660km on a single tank of fuel.

Other notable features of the Zotye Z100 include

  • Anti theft system
  • Alloy wheels
  • Electric rear view mirrors
  • Power windows
  • Central locking
  • Manual Air conditioning
  • 2-speaker stereo system with Radio + MP3 interface
  • Electronic power steering.
  • Trip Computer
  • 4.5m turning radius

Among its decently impressive array of features, the Zotye Z100 is available at a starting price of PKR 1,172,000 and can be booked by customers for just PKR 25,000. The hatchback will be available in a choice of 3 colors which include white, silver, red and blue.

  1. It sad that they weren't able to introduce it at a reasonable price! Better equipped and more powerful Faw V2 costs a lot less.

  2. It just can't out gun the v2, it could have been a solid alternate to the mehran if it were for under 8.5 lac

  3. Its a joke! A biggest joke in Pakistan auto industry.
Without Airbags ABS and auto transmission such a small Chinese car shouldn't be worth more than 8lac

  4. If we are to spend above 1100000 than we should be looking at something that would not give a huge loss at resale, have after sales network and also that the company is here to stay. Had this car be around for less than a million mark than one could look at it but not otherwise. Wagon R or FAW V2 all the way.

  5. Whoever they are, the people of Pakistan should show them real place. They are nobody if consumer reject their product.
If you do that they will bring the price to it's place.
    Simple market dynamics
