A very detailed write-up author but to a person who lives in rural areas I believe that Corolla Altis is more value to money than Elantra. The reason is that other than lights and sunroof there is no difference between the two and the higher number of gears do not matter if they do not bear good ratios and one can hardly use a sunroof when driving to a farm or through an agricultural area, dust would accumulate on the edges of open sunroof. Moreover, Corolla Altis has a clear edge when it comes to re-selling the car or maintaining it.
On the other hand, people living in urban areas may view things differently, after all people are buying a Sonata, which to an onlooker is offering nothing but more wide and lengthy cabin.
