JW Forland Automotive has inaugurated its assembly plant on 5th June 2018 in Lahore, Pakistan. The new inaugurated assembly will be responsible for assembling JW Forland vehicles in the country, which, according to the company, will also strengthen the supply of commercial vehicles in the country that is destined to surge due to China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
JW Group President Shah Faisal, while speaking at the event said,
“Here at JW Forland automotive line, we turn automotive dreams and aspirations into reality, enabling our partners among the most innovative car makers in the world to lightweight their vehicles, thereby curbing fuel-consumption and emissions in use.”
Apart from making lightweight vehicles, which consume less fuel and emit less emission, the company is also aiming at creating jobs in the local market and boost the overall economy of the country.

The inauguration was also attended by Mr Javed Afridi, Ceo Haier & Ruba and Mr Alex, Ceo JW Forland. Mr Javed Afridi at the event said that Chinese investment in the country is necessary to curb financial crisis of the country.
The company’s Facebook post in this regard reads as follow:
“The moment has finally arrived. We are proud to inform everyone that our assembly plant has been inaugurated today. Our tireless team put in countless hours of hard work to ensure timely completion. Today marks a significant step in revolutionizing the automotive industry of Pakistan.”
