Lamborghini Huracan Spyder: An Owner’s Review
PakWheels has brought an exclusive owner’s review of the Lamborghini Huracan Spyder for its readers. This 2018 model is Pakistan’s eighth Lamborghini and 2nd Lamborghini convertible.
Exterior of Lamborghini Huracan Spyder:
This car has specially designed wings at the front, to penetrate the wind at the front, so that car can reach to its maximum speed easily. This is the reason this car has an aerodynamic smaller front and a bit wider back. Furthermore, it has parking sensors and air intake vents at the front.
This vehicle’s headlights have a very simple but very chic design, making it very standout from other models of this car. Interestingly, the vehicle has a trunk at the front, while the engine is at the rear.
This Supercar comes with 20-inch wheels with one of the best braking systems in the world. Furthermore, you can select the color of the brake, as per your choice.
If you come to the back, you will see Lamborghini’s signature style of flaps. However, the difference in this model is the setting of its engine. You cannot see the whole engine after opening the bonnet. Furthermore, the rear bumpers are diffusers to beat gravity and diffuse the wind.
Interior:
Almost all the car specs are in hexagon shape because its parts are of carbon fiber. The atomic number of carbon fiber is six with a hexagonal shape. The car has three driving modes, i.e., Strada for a standard drive, then sport, and lastly, Corsa, which is for a track race.
All the features and specs of the car are visible on the screen behind the steering. You can see the speed, entertainment options, height of the vehicle, and modes of driving.
The steering has the buttons for indicators, headlight, model control and wipers.
Coming to the central console, it has a push start button and reverses camera control. The console also has different buttons, including side mirror control, height control, traction, double indicator, parking sensors, and fuel-saving.
The console also has a button for the roof. The roof opens and closes in just 6 seconds.
AC Performance of Lamborghini Huracan Spyder:
The AC system is also in the central console. As per the owner, AC’s performance is excellent, even if your roof is down, but side-mirrors are up. The AC has a bit high sound, but its cooling is perfect.
Audio System:
You can control the whole audio and sound system from the console. The system has Bluetooth connectivity, radio, navigation, menu, and other options.
Height Control Option:
One of the exciting features of this car is height control. You can increase it by pushing a button on the console. This feature can drive this vehicle on Pakistani roads without hitting its underbody with speed breakers and potholes. However, after the speed of 60km/hour, the car will come back to the original height to increase the car’s stability and traction.
Engine of Lamborghini Huracan Spyder:
The car has a 5.2L V10 engine, making it quite a fast Supercar.
Driving Experience:
The company has developed this car’s aerodynamics in such a shape that you will not hear the outside noise, even with an open roof. Furthermore, even with an open roof, the water will not enter the interior over 60km/hour speed if you drive in the rain.
According to the driver, the drive is very smooth on Pakistani roads, especially in Strada mode. “You have to be careful while driving in sports mode because it will affect the stability,” the owner said. The escalation and deceleration are excellent for this car.
The owner told us that he had driven this car in England, where he received it. “I drove up to 280km/hour speed, but it felt like 180km, due to this car’s stability,” the owner said.
He further said that he has driven this car around 600 kilometers, which is a lot on Pakistan’s roads. “I am using this car daily and hasn’t faced any issue so far,” he said.
According to the owner, it feels good to have this car in Pakistan because people appreciate its look and praise it.
Color Choice:
Usually, Lamborghini’s bright colors like yellow, neon green and red are famous; however, the owner bought it in black color. “I don’t like bright colors in the car, and I think black color gives this car a great look,” he said.
0-100 of Lamborghini Huracan Spyder:
The company claims that its its reaches from 0 to 100 in 3.2 seconds, however, our test shows that the car achieves this feet in 4.23 seconds.
