OGDCL earns PKR 26.73 billion in Q1 of 2018-19

Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) has made PKR 26.73 billion in the first quarter of 2018-19.

In a notice sent to Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company has revealed that its net profit is up by 57% to PKR 26.73 billion in the quarter that ended on 30th September 2018, however, on the contrary, it earned PKR 17.00 billion in the same period of the corresponding year.

Not only, the net profit is up, but the Earnings per share has also gone up to PKR 6.22 in FY 2018-19 as opposed to PKR 3.95 in the previous year. The company made this profit due to higher sales which were up by 40.57% to Rs 61.79 billion.

Moreover, Byco has also posted its after-tax profit, and according to it, the company made PKR 5.02 billion in FY18 that ended on 30th June 2018 up by 130% compared to the same period of the corresponding year.

Furthermore, Pak Suzuki has earned a profit of PKR 95 million in the quarter that ended on 30th September 2018, down by 91%, whereas in the same quarter of the corresponding year, it made a profit of PKR 1.10 billion.
