Over one dozen bikes recovered by Rawalpindi police

In a planned action, the City Police of Rawalpindi has arrested an intercity gang involved in snatching bikes in twin cities – Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

As per details, the police have arrested five members of the gang and recovered as many as 17 bikes from them. The five-member gang consisted of Yasir alias Kali, Subhan alias Pempal, Muhammad Qasim, Abdul Wahab and Shahid Khan. The higher officials lauded the efforts of the policemen to ensure the safety of the public. 

Furthermore, police have also arrested three bike lifters from Kasur and recovered six bikes from them. District Police Officer (DPO) Kasur, Muntazir Mehdi instructed the police officials to go after the notorious criminals who have made the life of people miserable.

Moreover, Karachi police have also apprehended a group of four car lifters that include a woman as well. The culprits were involved in car and bike snatching throughout the city. They used to snatch the vehicles and sell their parts at a low cost. The police asserted that the culprits till now had snatched more than 20 vehicles. While speaking to the media, a police official said that they had recovered five vehicles from the culprits.
