We recently found pictures of the new upcoming Corolla caught testing on the roads of Karachi and now, a Pakwheels reader has seen these pictures of the Corolla test mule on the Lahore-Islamabad Motorway.
Test mules are run by manufacturers around the world to test the vehicles for development purposes. Since Pakistani assemble the Corolla here, while the actual development is done by Toyota Global, this particular Corolla test mule is being tested by Indus Motors’ engineers to suit our country’s driving conditions.

I'm sure this is basically the XLi model, and this model will not come with all safety features or luxurious features, the basic model is not only brought by common man from salary, the basic model is meant to suit the need of fleet buyers like Metro cabs.

so somebody imported the latest model and using these tactics to pretend as if Toyota is being tested in Pakistan. Nice attempt…….usually cars are not tested after getting the Registration number, and not in public places till company R&D department approves

i have seen this testing when i was traveling to ISB
