Porsche Taycan launched with a starting price of $150,900

Porsche Taycan has been creating a great deal of hype lately since people are more inclined towards electric vehicles. The instant torque and remarkable off-the-line acceleration make electric vehicles very popular. There is a configurator available online with numerous options so that customers can customize their Taycan to their taste. There are two models on sale right now. The Turbo base model is available from $150,900 and the more expensive Turbo S model can be bought at $185,000. If you want a fully loaded Turbo S model, you will have to pay $241,500. 

The Porsche Taycan comes equipped with an all-wheel-drive system and a dual motor. The dual-motor can produce up to 617 horsepower. During launch modes, the Turbo model produces 671 horsepower and the Turbo S model produces 751 horsepower. These performance figures can propel the Turbo model from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.0 seconds and the Turbo S can do this in 2.6 seconds. 

The Porsche Taycan is available in 10 colors: Dolomite Silver Metallic, White, Black, Carrera White Metallic, Gentian Blue Metallic, Jet Black Metallic, Volcano Grey Metallic, Frozen Blue Metallic, and Mamba Green Metallic. Carmine Red is the most expensive color which costs $3,150. You can also configure your interior upholstery in nine different ways. The most expensive option here is Olea Club Leather which costs $3,150. 

The Turbo S model comes standard with features like rear-axle steering and ceramic brakes. Moreover, it comes standard with 21-inch alloy rims that look sleek and sporty. Other options include Surround View cameras, noise-insulated glass, lane change assist and front-seat ventilation.
