Proton X70 has officially been launched in Pakistan today. During a virtual launching ceremony, the company revealed the price and salient features of the car.
Proton has launched the compact SUV in two variants, i.e., All Wheel Drive (AWD) Executive and Front Wheel Drive (FWD) Premium.

Proton X70 AWD Executive:

FWD Premium:

- Front Passenger Power Seats
- Panoramic Sunroof
- 19-inch Alloy Rims
The company has offered multiple important features in both variants. Furthermore, the announced prices of both variants are below KIA Sportage and Hyundai Tucson. This means, we can expect a tough competition by Proton X70 to these two compact SUVs.
It is pertinent to mention that Proton is a national brand of Malaysia. The company has been enjoying an extremely successful run in the country. Even, former Prime Minister of Malaysia Mahatir Mohammad gifted X70 to Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, during latter’s visit to Malaysia.
When Will be CKD Units Available?
During the launching ceremony, the company said it will start the production of CKD units in Pakistan in second quarter of 2021. The company is building the state of the art plan in Pakistan, which would soon be completed, the company official said.
