Yesterday, we told you about a rumour floating around about the closure of United cars. The rumour left us wondering if United Motors is saying goodbye to its two car models, United Bravo and United Alpha. Turns out, it was nothing but a false and baseless rumour, and United cars are not going anywhere.
We got in touch with a company official to find out the truth, and he stressed that United Motors is not at all shutting down its operations. The company is going stronger than ever, selling both their car models, Bravo and Alpha, and delivering the cars within a week. He also requested people to stop spreading rumours in the market and show support for the United brand.
More United Models?
Not only is United Motors staying in the market, but the company may also launch more United cars in the future. The company official revealed this exciting development, hinting at the addition of new models in the United car lineup.
United Motors entered the car market in 2018 with an 800cc hatchback, United Bravo. It was supposed to be an alternative to the Suzuki Mehran, a car for the middle class. But the build quality issues got in the way of Bravo becoming a hit like Mehran.
Last year in January, United Motors introduced their second car in the market, a 1000cc hatchback, United Alpha. Like Bravo, Alpha is also a car for the middle-class Pakistanis, who want to buy a brand-new car for less than Rs. 15 lacs.
With two ongoing models, United Motors has gotten a hang of the local market. If the company goes on to introduce more cars, they ought to work on the issues of their current models and improve them in the upcoming ones. We hope that United cars will take this rumour as constructive feedback to continue in the market and become a serious brand.
