On November 17, it hiked the price of its model Yamaha YBR 125 by Rs. 17,000, and the reason it gave? A new model, and guess what, the new model was a new color; yes, Pakistani bike companies keep on calling a new sticker and new color a new model; aren’t they innovative? And let us remind you that it is 2023, but in Pakistan, it is still New Sticker = New Model.

New Price of Yamaha YB125Z-DX
So, keeping its tradition alive, Yamaha announced a fresh price hike for another of its models, Yamaha YB125Z-DX, also by Rs. 17,000, and now it will cost Rs. 440,500 against the previous Rs. 423,500. The new price will be effective from November 23, 2023. In the official notification, there are no reasons mentioned, as usual, but learning from previous experience, we asked around whether the company is planning to launch a new “model,” and guess what? We were right.
A “New Model”
As per our sources and a dealership, the company is going to introduce a new sticker for the Yamaha 125Z-DX, hence the price increase. Congratulations are in order, we must say, because the company has taken a revolutionary step in introducing a whole new sticker. A standing ovation, maybe? No? Ok. The sources told us this “new model” will arrive at the dealerships in the next few days. We will share the photos of the new 125Z-DX with you so you can see the revolutionary technology.
Unfortunately for the consumers, obviously, this price hike and new sticker series will continue for the foreseeable future in Pakistan because the companies have no desire to introduce anything new in the actual sense.
