The last time we shared few awesome pictures of cars, we claimed that they will leave you spellbound, well they actually did and reading such a great response, we’re back again with a whole new set of amazing pictures of cars to add color to your desktop so to start your soul when you sip the first cup of tea of your day beginning in the office.
An inspiration must be infront of your eyes because car is not just a tool to us as the greatest automotive journalist from Top Gear has said,” A car can be a tool but it can also be so much more. It can be a heart-starter, it can be a drug, it can be a piece of art and it can stir your soul.”
We’ll begin with a Japanese classic, the Datsun 510 was a series of the Datsun Bluebird sold from 1968 to 1974. Also known as poor-man’s BMW, these cars are back into the automotive scene internationally but you would hardly notice these “kaali-peeli” taxis but would you know that 510s are today more expensive than Nissan Silvia S14.
One of few iconic Japanese super-cars show of their fantastic rear-bulbs.
The Ford GT40, the best American attempt at making super-cars, and they have yet to surpass the standards they set in the ’60s.
Even the Kangaroos like the Mercedes Benz C63 AMG.
The greatest F1 driver, Ayrton Senna was involved in the making of the only super-car Honda made, the NSX. Meet Nissan Skyline G35 cooking on deep-dish wheels, even though the recipe is a disaster for performance but it looks delicious.
Meet the Corolla Trueno, doing what it does best, what it was meant to be but sadly, very few, if any exist in Pakistan but I am constantly reminded that if the ’86 and ’88 Corollas are for as much as 7 lacs – if they had it then what had they asked for the Truenos? 10-12 lac? Pakistanis are a set of deranged people when it comes to buying and selling of cars.
They say that if you own a Ferrari, you can score any number of girls you can however, they further say that if you own a Testarossa, you won’t be able to count the girls that’ll walk upto you themselves. The myths about Ferrari being a girl-magnet began with this car.
This is how an engine and its bay should look like.
We began the post with a Japanese classic and shall end this post with an American classic we all love so much that we have shaped Mark-II’s like them. This the Vengeance Camaro.
