Once again, with all its glory the PakWheels.com 2nd Sarfaranga Desert Race is back. Sponsored by Mountain Dew, and organized by the government of Gilgit-Baltistan, the second Sarfaranga is going to be even massive with Jeep rally and the Dirt Bike Race.
Starting from 31st of August 2018, it will be a three-day event with many auto enthusiasts being a part of it.
Overall, there will be nine categories in total; 4 for Stock, 4 for Prepared and 1 Women category. There are more than 100 drivers participating in the rally this year, with the Sangi Brothers, the Magsi Family, Baber Khan, Tushna Patel, Mrs. Qasim Saidhi, Zaigham Chouhan and Yasir Khan to name a few renowned rally drivers.

Below mentioned are the schedule and registration details for the participants of Sarfaranga Desert Rally:
Registration:

- Rally Car Registration: The Registration fees for Stock/Prepared Rally Vehicles is Rs. 15,000/- which is non-refundable and this price includes Transponder Cost.
- Rally Fees for On-Time Registration at the venue is Rs. 20,000/- which is non-refundable.
- Branded Rally Car Registration: The Registration fee for Branded Vehicle is Rs. 30,000 which is non-refundable.
Note: All drivers are requested to please make their payments before 23rd August. After that, the registration charges will be Rs.20,000/- All participating vehicles must not have any sponsored branding. If any vehicle has permanent branding, it must be approved beforehand by PakWheels management and would fall in branded vehicle category, moreover, the branded vehicle cannot qualify for Free Fuel Voucher.
Arrival Time:
The participants must arrive by 30th August 2018 till 4 PM.
Full course Recce will be allowed as per the scheduled dates advised in event schedule for the participating drivers along with their co-drivers. The participants will do the Recce in their vehicles on Friday, August 31st, 2018.
Accommodation:
The participating drivers and co-drivers will be accommodated in Tent Village on Blind Lake Sarfaranga Desert, District Shigar & Skardu. The amount will be included in the registration fee. In case of the additional crew, please inform the authorities at the time of registration.
Note: All guests including driver & co-driver are requested to please bring sleeping bags along with them.
Gilgit Baltistan is famous for its scenic beauty, where the world’s three mightiest mountain ranges – the Karakoram, the Hindukush and the Himalayas, meet. It is considered one of the best spots among mountaineers, trekkers, and anglers.
