Update:
Pak Suzuki has increased the rates of its cars for August 2019. As per the circular, which the company has sent to its dealers across Pakistan, it has only hiked the rates of its Alto variants and Vitara GLX.
The new rate of Alto VX is PKR 1,135,000, while the new price of Alto VXR is PKR 1,238,000 whereas the rate of VXL has been hiked to PKR 1,433,000. Lastly, the price of Vitara has been fixed at PKR 4,990,000 – an increase of PKR 695,000. The new prices will come into effect from 1 August 2019. See the circular below:
Note that PakWheels.com through its credible source had already reported that the company would increase the rates of its cars in the coming days.
Previously:
Pak Suzuki launched the most-awaited car of the year, Alto 660cc, at the Pak China Friendship Centre, Islamabad on 15th June 2019.
Pak Suzuki called it the biggest reveal of the year. Undoubtedly, there is a lot of expectations from the first-ever 660 cc car made in Pakistan. As a replacement of the company’s iconic Mehran, Alto has big shoes to fill in the local industry.
The company launched the car in three different variants; VX, VXR and VXL for its customers in Pakistan with the price tags of PKR 9,99,000, PKR 11,01,000, and PKR 12,95,000, respectively. However, according to our credible source, the company is all set to increase the price of Alto 660cc between PKR 1 lac to 1.5 lac from August 2019. The source has explicitly said that the company would be increasing the rates.
The all-new Alto is a 5-door hatchback with right-hand drive option (RHD). It’s powered by a 3-cylinder 658 cc R06A petrol engine mated to either a 5-speed manual or auto gear shift (AGS) transmission. The hatchback offers a maximum output power of 39hp at 6500 rpm and a torque of 56 Nm at 4000 rpm.
See the complete features and specifications of the car below:
Tell us what you guys think about the rumored price increase of Alto 660cc in the comments section below.
If price increased, the car is outside the reach of it’s potential customers and peoples favor 1000CC or JDM’s over this. And it’s also affect the already affected sale of the cars as well.
Jinga lala. Thank you IK
I think Suzuki want to boost orders of Alto as their sale is all time low now.
Greedy People will book more and more immediately and will try to resale when price up.
Pakwheels being an undisclosed partner of Suzuki Motors (Suzuki certified cars available on Pakwheels, is a proof) is trying its best not to criticize Suzuki. Have they ever carried out an analysis in the increase in Suzuki cars prices (like in case of Wagon R, nearly 3Lacs hike) with respect of RsVs$ depreciation. Every graduate can prove it easily that even if we account all the factors like FED etc even then this increase can’t be justified.
And above comment from Mudassar is also correct. I hope soon govt would allow again the imports of foreign cars as very smartly Suzuki is playing its game to loot money from people of Pakistan. These all are foreign companies and they are in Pakistan to make money & give back to Japan. They are present in Pakistan for more than 30 years but still they are not willing to localize all the parts 100%.
Pakwheel is losing its credibility in the eyes of people slowly but steadily. I miss those days, when their policy was more focus on the concerns of the public of Pakistan during its initial many years; not about the concerns of auto companies.
I wish i had’nt booked this piece of shit from NAPAK suzuki…..this much price hike for what reason on a locally assembled car ????
Had i known of this final price….i would never have gone for this product from a manipulative company which is disrespectful of its customers and would have bought FAW V2….
I REGRET MY DECISION….
This shithole company didnot bother to call me when they issued provisional booking number…so as to avoid balance payment and waited for the price hike…..now iam stuck with this piece of shit Alto which is not at all worth this new revised price …..we need competition against this NAPAK suzuki in our country…..
Is ke AC ke bareyein i was anyway apprehensive….since these 660 cars have weak airconditioning by default….if i would have known of this price point i would have gone for a proper car with higher displacement engine from another company which available in similar price bracket….
seriously people are stupid that they keep on buying this piece of trash, i bought a 2nd hand Nissan Sunny 98 model for 4.5 lakh and it never gave me any major issues, people forget that without proper care, cars will give you problems whether its new or old, i take care of mine and apart from battery problem and steering assembly issue, it hasnt been broken down even once in my 3 yrs run with it, so people, stop blaming government for everything, now a days its become a joke that a shopkeeper can sell you rs1000 price tag product at rs1500 by simply abusing the government, its us that we have getting them alot of opportunities to rob us, boycott them to send them a clear message that we arent impressed and they can go bankrupt till they gave us what we want, i mean the lowest level corolla in dubai, which is a taxi btw, has more feature than the atlas grande here
Absolutely right and i said i regret going for this crap at this price point……this is corporate robbery…..i wish Pak suzuki more loss in the future….
Though I have booked this car on previously announced price the dealer has called us and mentioned that price hike will impact on us despite the advance payment was made, how the dealers make monopoly and asking buyers to pay extra amount which shouldn’t be applied on old booking.
F* you Napak Suzuki
Hello Pakwheel.
Just to highlight for Pakwheels management:
Pakwheels being an undisclosed partner of Suzuki Motors (Suzuki certified cars available on Pakwheels, is a proof) is trying its best to not to criticize Suzuki. Have they ever carried out an analysis in the increase in Suzuki cars prices (like in case of Wagon R, nearly 3Lacs hike) with respect of RsVs$ depreciation. I miss those days, when their policy was more focused on the concerns of the public of Pakistan during its initial many years; not about the concerns of auto companies & their money making tactics.
Kya aap ki delivery date(tantative date) a gaye ha keh nahi.
Agar to date a gaye ha to price increase nahi para ga Inshallah.
A_ _ _ ole…..company this NAPAK suzuki
I hope so
They have given tentative delivery date as 10-10-19
Its because of people like you that a company like Suzuki is still producing cars and selling them at their own desired rate in Pakistan. So, you shouldn’t be crying. Its all your fault!
I regret my decision….as i said…and crying out loud is not bad….the ones who dont cry are at fault….if i am able to sway one person away from suzuki then i have achieved my aim of hurting this company…..
Btw this company acts like this because there is no competition in the market….i had no choice since i wanted an auto car in the small segment….imported ones are no more feasible now ….
So i will not stop crying….if you dont like it…..dont listen
This is a confirm news you will not be charged and if you will be charged than you must go to the Federal ombudsman court Pakistan
Please Stop buying cars on high prices to show anger to car mafia looters. Government is enjoying watching increasing prices. Shame for PTI who is sleeping n earning FED taxes from poor Pakistani buying 660cc cars.
Yar Bhai ….FED on 10lakh is Rs 25 k…..this amount of price hike is totally not justified by any means….This company is a total rip off …. This is corporate theft in my view….dakoo hai ye Napak suzuki and unfortunately there is no check on them from government side….and market cannot self correct itself unless there is some serious competition in the market…..
I wish NAPAKsuzuki a happy loss year….i just convinced a friend of mine to go for united and he booked one today….jitna inhon ne mujhe thuk lagaya hai, hopefully on a personal level us se ziyada nuqsan in ka mein ne kiya hai ( as they say their profit in all this is about 7 lakh per car , before the price hike)……i wish others will do something of the same sort……
you are right abi cultus li hai 2019 dabba hai bilkul stering tak hard hai jhatke le ke chalti hai
Napak suzuki company par laanat ho
aur is govt par bi jisne itne taxes laga diye
Stop paying extortion money to Napak Suzuki. Taxes can’t account for this kind of price increase.
Ya. It’s true
Is se behtar phir Mazda Carol hai
