Changan Master Motor has announced the price of Alsvin yesterday. The announcement has got the attention of local consumer. As per company, the prices of three variants of Alsvin are:
- 1.37L Base model with 5 speed Manual transmission @ PKR 2,199,000/-
- 1.5L COMFORT with 5 speed Dual Clutch Transmission @ PKR 2,399,000/-
- 1.5L LUMIERE with 5 speed Dual Clutch Transmission @ PKR 2,549,000/-
It is pertinent to mention that the company unveiled the car on December 11, 2020. However, it didn’t reveal the price, as CEO of the company stated, they would like to “keep a little bit of mystery”.
Booking For Public:
In a notification, Changan stated that it would open the booking of Alsvin for the public on January 14. Meanwhile, the company will start delivering cars in March, 2021.
The notification further read that to ensure transparency and focus on retail customers; the company will take the following measures:
- One person can book only one vehicle (Alsvin) per month as per their CNIC data.
- Pay Order/Demand Notice should be from customer’s account whose PBO is being generated.
- Booking amount for Changan Alsvin will be Rs750,000.
Lucky Draw:
The company has also conducted a lucky draw for its customers on January 7. The draw was held to announce 1000 lucky customers, who had pre-booked the vehicle on Changan’s website. “As promised, they will be the very first customers to experience the Changan Alsvin,” the notification read. These lucky customers will also get a 1-year free maintenance package.
Alsvin is the latest addition in the sedan segment of Pakistan, and it will compete Toyota Yaris and Honda City. The price of the car will play a huge role in its success in the local market.
Changan has launched this car with following salient features.
Engine and Power Train:
Changan Alsvin comes in two engine types, i.e., VVT 1.37L, with 95hp and 135Nm torque, or 1.5L, producing 105 hp and 145Nm torque. The 1.3L variant is Manual, while 1.5L will come with 5-Speed DCT Auto Transmission.
Variants of Changan Alsvin:
In a statement, the company said it is offering the Alsvin in three variants. The first is the 1.37-litre smart manual transmission variant. Alongside this, the car has 1.5 litres 5-speed Dual-Clutch Automatic Transmission (DCT).
The top of the line variant will be the luxurious “Lumiere” edition with 1.5-litre DCT. As per the company, this variant is packed with features, the customers in this segment could previously only have dreamt of.
Salient Features of Changan Alsvin:
The car’s salient features include Start-Stop Technology (SST), and Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). The first feature is great for fuel-saving as car switch itself off while sitting idle in traffic or a signal. The second one is perfect for the maintenance because it will remind you about the tire pressure.
Infotainment System:
The car has 7-inch Human Machine Interface (HMI) that allows the user to reconfigure multiple functions such as air conditioning, lighting, and locks. The floating touchscreen looks very good on the dashboard, giving the whole interior a chic look.
Sunroof in Changan Alsvin:
As per the company, the new sedan will come with Electronic Sunroof, to give the passenger a great travel experience. This feature has not been offered in this category before. This will give the passengers and the driver a great experience, as it will provide a beautiful view of road and sky together.
Sensors:
The company has installed a reverse camera with parking sensors. Again, this is an excellent feature in the category. Other cars, including Toyota Yaris and Honda City, do not have this feature. Through these sensors, the parking would be very easy for the driver.
Head Lamps/Side View Mirrors.
The car has Powerful Projector headlamps. Meanwhile, the new Sedan will come with heated side-view mirrors. Although the headlamps are standard in this segment, however, the heated side mirrors are handy, especially in the rainy and foggy seasons.
Airbags in Changan Alsvin:
The car will come with two airbags. These dual airbags will make the vehicle a very safe ride for you and your family, as you can travel in it with safety.
