After a long wait, Changan Alsvin has finally been unveiled in Pakistan. In a ceremony, held in Karachi, the company revealed the vehicle for local consumers. The Changan Master has been testing the car for quite a long time in Pakistan.
Before the reveal ceremony, in a Press Release, the Master Motors CEO said, “The Alsvin brings the Pakistani consumers an impressive array of automotive technology that is being introduced for the first time in Pakistan.” He further said that these features have never been offered in Sedan category in Pakistan before.

Engine and Power Train:
Changan Alsvin comes in two engine types, i.e, VVT 1.37L , with 95hp and 135nm torque, or 1.5L, producing 105 hp and 145nm torque. The 1.3L variant is Manual, while 1.5L will come with 5-Speed DCT Auto Transmission.
Variants of Changan Alsvin:
In a statement, the company said it is offering the Alsvin in three variants. The first is the 1.37-litre smart manual transmission variant. Alongside this, the car has 1.5 litres 5-speed Dual-Clutch Automatic Transmission (DCT).
At the top of the line, will be the luxurious “Lumiere” edition with 1.5-litre DC. As per the company this variant is packed with features customers in this segment could previously only have dreamt of.
Salient Features:
The salient features of car includes, Start-Stop Technology (SST), and Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). The first feature is great for fuel saving as car switch itself off while sitting idle in traffic or a signal. The second one is very good for the maintenance, because it will keep you reminding about the tire pressure.
Infotainment System:
The car has 7-inch Human Machine Interface (HMI) that allows the user to reconfigure multiple functions such as air conditioning, lighting, and locks. The floating touchscreen looks very good on the dashboard, giving the whole interior a chic look.
Sunroof in Changan Alsvin:
As per the company, the new Sedan will come with Electronic Sunroof, to give the passenger a great travel experience. This feature has not been offered in this category. This will give a great experience to the passengers and the driver, as it will give a beautiful view of road and sky together.
Sensors:
The company has installed reverse camera with parking sensors. Again, this is an excellent feature in the category. Other cars including Toyota Yaris and Honda City, do not have this feature. Through these sensors, the parking would be very easy for the driver.
Head Lamps/Side View Mirrors.
The car has Powerful Projector headlamps. Meanwhile, the new Sedan will come with heated side view mirrors. Although the headlamps are normal in this segment, however, the heated side mirrors are very useful feature, especially in the rainy and foggy season.
Airbags in Changan Alsvin:
The car will come with 2 airbags. This dual airbags will make the car a very safe ride for you and your family, as you can travel in it with safety.
CKD Model Launch Time and Price:
The company said that first locally produced Alsvin is all set to be rolled off the assembly line within a few days. Furthermore, the price will be revealed in January. So the consumers have to wait to buy this new entrant in Sedan category.
