It’s the 25th of November, the day of the Pakistan Petroleum Dealers Association (PPDA)’s country-wide strike. People are bracing themselves for the beginning of an anticipated petrol shortage as petrol pumps are closed across the country.

Amid this chaos, a few petroleum companies have decided to keep their petrol stations functional. At first, PSO shared the good news of keeping its Company Owned, and Company Operated (COCO) petrol pumps open. Later, Shell joined the club and, now, Total Parco, HASCOL, and GO are also doing the same.

So, here are the lists of PSO and Shell’s Company Owned and Company Operated (COCO) petrol pumps that are still open.

Petrol Dealers’ Strike

Earlier this week, the petrol dealers’ association called for a countrywide strike about their low profit margins in petroleum sales. PPDA demanded the government to increase the dealers’ profit margin from 2% to 6%. If not, they will keep the fuel stations closed starting from today until further notice.

PPDA gave the government a deadline of almost a week, but the government didn’t do anything. And so the strike has begun. However, things are not as bad as we thought they would be. PSO, Shell, Total Parco, HASCOL, and GO are here to save everyone’s day by keeping their company owned, company operated petrol stations open.

Yes, most of the petrol stations are closed, but some are still operating. So, there’s no need to panic. The good thing is we can still get fuel for our vehicles. Let’s just wait for the government to resolve its issues with the petrol dealers and make things normal for the public. Till then, keep your tankis full  and help others by sharing this as much as you can. Stay patient with us!
