One thing we have learned about MG Motors is that it’s full of surprises. This time, MG has surprised everyone with a new facelift of the ZS EV. The company has opened bookings for MG ZS EV facelift at MG dealerships across the country. Before you decide to book the new electric car, here’s what it has to offer.

Power and Range

First things first, market reports suggest that the new model has more power than the last one. Earlier, ZS EV had a 44.5 kWh battery pack. However, the facelift will have a 51.5 kWh battery and synchronous motor, producing174 horsepower and 280 Nm of torquemated with an 1-speed automatic transmission. 

The car also has a better range than the previous model. With a larger battery pack, the new facelift model can go up to 429 kilometres on a full charge.

0-100

The company claims that the car reaches from 0 to 100 in 8.2 seconds.

Dimensions 

The new car is 4323mm long, 1809mm wide and 1625mm high.

Exterior

We have all seen the old MG ZS EV, but the new one is coming with some noticeable cosmetic differences. A diamond-pattern panel replaces the famous MG front grille. The logo is still in the centre of the grille, but the charging port is moved to the side. 

The LED headlamps and rear lights are sleeker, giving the car a modern look. The 17-inch alloy wheels also have a different design than before.

Interior

The overall look and feel of the car is reportedly the same, except for some changes, including leatherette seats, silver door latches, sleeker centre console, and silver trims across the interior. 

Other upgrades include a 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen with wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, a wireless charger, and a slim climate control system.

Safety

The company has added a number of features to make the car safer for you, your family and friends. Six airbags, hill start assist, autonomous braking, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, traffic jam assist, blind spot monitoring, electronic stability program, and more.

Price

The new MG ZS Facelift model will cost Rs. 7,017,000, while you can book the car for Rs. 3 million.
