After SuzukiMGPrince DFSKChangan, and Kia, Hyundai-Nishat is also facing late car deliveries. Just like everybody else, Hyundai Pakistan has addressed the issue on social media. The company has posted a statement to let the customers know what got in the way of the delivery of their booked Hyundai Tucson. It’s the same old deal about the global semiconductor chip crisis.

The good thing about Tucson’s late deliveries is that Hyundai is offering its customers compensation of free periodic maintenance.

The caption of the post read, “We understand that the delays are always unbearable! Therefore, as a token of our appreciation for your patience, we will be offering Free Periodic Maintenance (25,000 km/1 Year whichever comes first), covering all parts/lubricants as per the Owner’s Manual) for all Hyundai TUCSON orders invoiced later than the tentative delivery month of PBO (Provisional Booking Order) form. This will be in addition to the markup paid as per rules and regulations! Terms and conditions applied.”

COVID-19 continues to haunt the auto industry

The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has hit various industries around the globe. The auto industry is one of the brutally affected industries. Auto companies are facing delays in car deliveries due to the unavailability of parts.

Auto manufacturing companies in Pakistan are taking the responsible step of keeping their customers in the loop about the late deliveries of cars. They appreciate the customers for their patience and are doing the best they can to beat these challenges. They need the customers’ support to come out stronger and resilient.

We hope that things get better for the automotive industry and the local auto manufacturers. The production lines are restored, and cars are delivered on time. The companies can produce more cars and take more bookings. More consumers get to experience the thrill of driving new cars, and everybody wins!
