Islamabad Police arrests 16 car snatchers, recovers one dozen cars

In a planned action, Anti-Car Lifting Cell (ACLC) of Islamabad Police has arrested around 16 car snatchers from the capital and recovered a total of 12 cars and three bikes as well.

As per the details, special teams were made to catch the culprits. For the past many months the snatchers were giving a hard time to the citizens, but now they have been apprehended by the police. Senior police officials have lauded the performance of the policemen involved in the raid against the culprits and also directed them to keep the citizens and their property safe from criminals at all time.

Note here that recovered vehicles included nine Toyota Corolla cars, three bikes (Honda 125) etc. Moreover, the police have also urged people to cooperate with them to curb the crime from the city.

Furthermore, the City Police of Rawalpindi has also arrested an intercity gang involved in snatching bikes in twin cities – Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

As per details, the police have arrested five members of the gang and recovered as many as 17 bikes from them. The five-member gang consisted of Yasir alias Kali, Subhan alias Pempal, Muhammad Qasim, Abdul Wahab and Shahid Khan. The higher officials lauded the efforts of the policemen to ensure the safety of the public.

Moreover, Karachi police have also apprehended a group of four car lifters that include a woman as well. The culprits were involved in car and bike snatching throughout the city.
