Heavy vehicles breaking down on GT road is common and this not only hinders the traffic flow but also cause financial loss to transporters, as after the breakdown they get stuck on the road, unable to deliver the shipment on time. This new service will be very viable for the transporters as they will get help in no time which would result in a less financial loss for them.

This service is a part of Drivers Emergency & Rest Areas (DERA), which will be launched soon. The DERA service will provide all kinds of international facilities for people driving through GT road such as parking areas, medical assistance, eateries etc.

The whole service is being introduced keeping in view the probable surge of heavy vehicles due to China Pakistan Economic Corridor.
