Meanwhile, people travelling on highways need to get their first vaccine shot before September 30 and the second dose by October 30.
The NHA has announced this restriction amid rising COVID-19 cases in the country. Pakistan has reported 4,553 new cases and 85 deaths today, with a positivity rate of 7.4%. The government has been asking the citizens to get vaccinated to get rid of the disease as soon as possible.
Earlier, this week the government expanded the vaccination for youngsters of 15-16 years old. Furthermore, the government is now offering specific vaccination for specific countries for travel abroad. Talking to the press, Dr Sultan, the de facto health minister, stated that the government would charge minimal for these special doses.
Meanwhile, the government has also announced a deadline for air travel. As per Asad Umar, no unvaccinated individual will be allowed air travel after September 30.
COVID-19 and Auto Industry
Like the rest of the world, COVID-19 has seriously hampered the auto industry. Earlier this week, Toyota Global announced a 40% cut in its production, while all car companies are facing a semiconductor chip shortage. This shortage has also caused delays in deliveries in Pakistan. The major companies, including MG Pakistan, Proton Pakistan and Changan Master Motors, have cited this chip shortage as the main reason for late car deliveries.
Furthermore, the charges of shipping and raw material have also shot up due to the pandemic. And due to all these reasons, it is expected that car prices will once again go up in Pakistan, as Changan has already announced a massive price increase.

This is insane, all the variants come from vaccination. For less than 1% to get infected by covid, we should not take such radical measures.
I thank Allah S.W.T. that Sind government has not gone crazy, I hope that they do not stoop as low as Punjab government.
While I am not denying that this virus is not dangerous but vaccination is not a cure as well as gargles (salty water) and avoiding physical contact.
Any medical procedure to do or not to do is a sole private decision of any human being who is of the age of adulthood. You can try to convince them but forcefully and by these stupid tactics of the government is fundamentally illegal.
