Pak-China bus service suspended due to extreme weather

The recently launched Pak-China bus service has been suspended due to bad weather conditions in Gilgit-Baltistan. 

While speaking to PakWheels.com, an official of the North South Transport Network Pvt. Ltd. informed that following the extreme cold in North, the company has halted all its operations and the customers have been notified in this regard. 

Moreover, he said that the operations will begin in April 2019, when the weather will become clear and suitable for traveling. The bus service started its operations in November of this year and completed many journeys.

The 30-hour long trip starts from Lahore and ends in Tashkurgan. A one-way trip ticket will cost you PKR 13,000 per passenger whereas, return ticket will cost you around PKR 23,000.  Moreover, if the person is carrying more than 20kg of weight will have to pay an extra sum. The bus is equipped with all the latest technology and security equipment.

Documents required to travel are as follow:

  • Valid passport
  • Visa
  • Valid NIC
  • Original Invitation from China
  • Ticket
