Proton X70 has been launched in Pakistan. The company introduced the car during a virtual launch event in Karachi today. The new compact SUV was unveiled in the country on December 10, and company revealed multiple features.
The company has launched the car in two variants, first one is Executive All Wheel Drive (AWD) and second one is Premium Front Wheel Drive (FWD). Currently, the company will sell CBU units of the car, however, the production of CKD units would be started in second quarter of 2021, the company said.
Price of Proton X70 CBU Units:
The price of AWD Executive variant is Rs4,890,000, while the cost of FWD Premium is Rs5,390,000.
Price of CKD Units:
As per the company, the price of AWD Executive would be Rs4,690,000, while the rate of FWD Premium would be Rs4,990,000.
Engine of Proton X70:
The car comes with 1500cc Turbocharged engine, which produces 177hp and 255Nm Torque, mated with Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT).

The company has offered multiple important features in both variants. Furthermore, the announced prices of both variants are below KIA Sportage and Hyundai Tucson. This means, we can expect a tough competition by Proton X70 to these two compact SUVs.
