Tesla will build all-electric pickup truck, says Musk
Innovation and creativity are two strongholds of Tesla, and it never compromises on these two factors no matter what, while making its products. The Chief of Tesla Elon Musk created a stir in the automobile industry after he promised to make electric-pickup truck right after Model Y with game-changing features and specifications; the chief said it while answering to the queries of his fans and followers on social networking site Twitter.

The announcement came after one of his followers urged Elon to make Electric pick-up to which he replied as follow;
“I promise that we will make a pickup truck right after Model Y. Have had the core design/engineering elements in my mind for almost five years. Am dying to build it.”
It would be worth mentioning here that Model Y is a compact crossover SUV based on Tesla Model 3 and is expected to go on sale in 2019-20. So it is safe to assume that the new electric pickup truck would materialize after 2020.
Moving onward, one of his followers even tweeted that he wants “Rain sensor (AP2), All 8 Cameras as Dashcam, Ambient light settings (brightness, footwell front and rear seats), Sign Recognition, Music quieter when opening all doors (with settings), Disco Mode (Ambient light to music beat with on/off and brightness)” features in Tesla truck. Musk response was quite witty, he said;
“Was gonna say we’ll do all but the last, but that last one sounds like good, cheesy fun.”
