Winters are almost here, and I know many of you have already started buying winter clothes to face the winter. This is always an excellent technique and planning to get ready for the situation which will eventually come up no matter what. The first precaution one must take is the use of winter tires. People in the country do not use winter tires. Instead, they use summer tires in winter and compromise their safety. The winter tires not only give more control to the car on snowy roads but also give stability. The winter tire has other groves called Sipes, which helps the tire to bite the road and don’t let the car go out of control. The reason for mentioning winter at the top spot is that many people in Pakistan don’t know about winter tires and their importance.

Fog lights

Always use fog lights in winter while driving. Especially people living in the northern areas of Pakistan should always fog lights. Most of the times accidents occur because the one who is driving the vehicle doesn’t use fog lights in bad weather and lights. Furthermore, this time it is also expected that cities might be filled with excessive fog, so it is necessary to use fog lights for your safety.

Over speeding:

One should never go over the board and accelerate much in winter. Follow the recommended speed by the authorities and stick to it.

Maintain fair distance from other vehicles:

One of the most important factors is to maintain a fair amount of distance from the vehicles behind and ahead of you. As the roads are slippery in winters due to snow; your vehicle might not stop after hitting the brakes that is why it is necessary to keep distance to avoid any problem.

Avoid driving at night:

In normal weather conditions, it is ok to drive at night. However, it is highly recommended driving in snowy nights for your safety.
