Ghandhara Nissan in a notice sent to Pakistan Stock Exchange has told the authority that the company has made a net profit of PKR 450 million in the last quarter which ended on December 31. The data revealed by the company show that its net profit has gone up by 82.19 percent compared to the same quarter of previous year. In the same quarter of the preceding year, the company posted a net profit of PKR 247 million. Additionally, the net sales of the company have also soared from PKR 2.11 billion to PKR 3.61 billion.
Furthermore, it is important to note here that as per the Auto Policy 2016-21, Ghandhara might also be getting the Brownfield status in the near future, as per the mutual agreement of both the Engineering Development Board (EDB) and Board of Investment (BOI).
The earnings per share of the company has also increased, now it stands at 21.14 EPS. In the same quarter previous year it was 11.61 EPS.

Moreover, the company is all set to launch ISUZU D-Max in the second quarter of this year, and it is very likely that the company after being granted the Brownfield status will launch the Datsun cars in the country. So, it is safe to say that the profit of the company will surge at the end this year even more.
Aside from Ghandhara Nissan, Toyota IMC has also posted its net profit. The company revealed to Pakistan Stock Exchange that it earned a net profit of PKR 3.74 billion in the last quarter which ended on December 31, 2017.
