The government presented the Annual Budget 2022-2023 on Friday. The new budget has proposed to increase the Advance Tax on cars from 100% to 200% for non-filers. Currently, Advance Tax for non-filer citizens is twice the Advance Tax for filers. As per the annual budget, Advance Tax for non-filer citizens is now three times of Advance Tax for filers.
Current Advance Tax for non-filers = 2 x current Advance Tax for filers
Proposed Advance Tax for non-filers = 3 x proposed Advance Tax for filers
