New Prices of Toyota CBU Cars
The first car price hike of 2022 continues. Most companies have announced the new prices of their locally assembled cars. After the new prices of CKD (Completely Knocked-Down) cars comes the price revision of imported CBU (Completely Built-Up) cars. First up, we have the new prices of Toyota CBU cars.
The prices have been increased due to a hike in the FED (Federal Excise Duty) and RD (Regulatory Duty) on imported CBU cars under the mini-budget.
Toyota Camry Price
Toyota Camry, that was launched under Rs. 9 million a few years ago, has now crossed Rs. 20 million. With a jump of Rs. 2,699,000 in the old price of Rs. 18,630,000, the car’s new price has become Rs. 21,329,000.
Toyota Prius Price
Toyota’s famous fuel-economical hybrid sedan is not that economical anymore. Toyota Prius that previously cost Rs. 9,270,000 has seen a jump of Rs. 1,839,000. The car’s new price is Rs. 11,109,000.
Toyota Corolla Cross Prices
True to its name, the Toyota Corolla Cross has also crossed Rs. 10 million.
- The hybrid SUV’s Corolla Cross Low Grade variant will now cost Rs. 9,249,000. The base variant’s price has gone up by Rs. 1,560,000 from the old rate of Rs. 7,689,000.
- The Corolla Cross Smart Mid Grade variant will cost Rs. 9,869,000. Mid variant’s price has gone up by Rs. 1,670,000 from the old rate of Rs. 8,199,000.
- The top-of-the-line Corolla Cross Premium High Grade variant will cost Rs. 10,109,000, after a jump of Rs. 1,560,000 from the old price of Rs. 8,399,000.
Toyota Rush Prices
Toyota Rush is another crossover that the company offers as a CBU import. The prices of both Rush variants have increased.
- Toyota Rush G M/T previously came at Rs. 5,630,000. After an increase of Rs. 589,000, the price has now become Rs. 6,219,000.
- Toyota Rush G A/T used to cost Rs. 5,840,000. After an increase of Rs. 619,000, the price has now become Rs. 6,459,000.
The prices of 29-seater Toyota Coaster and Toyota Hiace have also increased by Rs. 810,000 and up to Rs. 659,000 respectively.
