PSO, on this Sunday has launched a new range of petroleum products, named Altron premium and Altron X High Performance. The new product range is on sale in Karachi on PSO filling stations and will be made available nationwide as the product shipment to central/north region is still underway. It is also worth noticing that due to deregulated (renamed) HOBC -now Altron X High Performance- is expected to receive a price hike of Rs. 5-7 per litre as per company officials.
The CEO & MD of PSO, while sharing his thoughts on the countrywide roll-out of the new product range said:

This ALTRON SUPREME which PSO is claiming that its 92 RON let me make it very clear its a marketing gimmick a fraudulent way of making money . this fuel is tested for RON and the results came were shocking see pic for result ! . Even the properties of Fuel were really weird Oily type with NO Fragrance of Petrol at all. Resulting in continuous Engine Knock. Anyone can take a sample get it tested with Recognized LAB . I am 100% Sure that its not 92 RON not even 87

Please share your source. I got Altron Premium today and felt significant decrease in low RPM knock. The engine response is also better especially at lower RPMs.
Either share your source with evidence for 82.3 RON tests or don’t spread false information. You seem to be associated with a competitor company I think.
First you ask question then you come up with allegation .Why dont you take a sample and spend some of your time and money on this RON testing as i have done and if you dont have both of these then please refrain from commenting. For the source, i posted my test results but this Pak wheels admin keep on removing my pic because infact these people are paid . Anyways i bought a roN TESTING device from abroad and tested it myself , PSO pump is 26th street COMPANY OPERATED. You send my your email inbox at facebook will send you evidence.
And FYI all almost all of the companies i have tested yet Shell Total PSO are selling degraded RON since years. I am closely associated with this FUEL quality issue due to my business field.
Why should i go and test the fuel? Its you making these bold claims publically so you should be bold enough to publically share evidences. Share evidence like test results. Even for a minute if we assume you have octane tester, do you know how to calibrate it? Just buying a piece of hardware do not make you an expert over the subject.

I dont know why you are getting offended without any research and findings , and my claims have support and evidence and you are just trying to become an uninvited judge.
And I do know how to calibrate the device at least i spent something. And again i told you either you counter me with something legit or you keep on closing your eyes. I am not here to stop you from using crap.

I’m driving a swift from 2015 and never got far from 9km but since I have fueled it up with pso high performance strangely my car mileage has gone beyond 13km/l
I’ll test again and let you all know
Are you the same guy who posted a picture of a Portable Octane Analyzer testing Altron on some Facebook page? If so, I can vouch for the reading this guy took. PSO is really selling cr#p.
