12 Cars You Need To Follow At The 2015 Geneva International Motor Show
The McLaren 675LT and P1 GTR:
Unveiling 2 cars this year, McLaren has quite literally shocked the super car world. The 675LT is a more hardcore version of the 650S which was unveiled last year. The 675LT gets most of its styling inspired by the legendary McLaren F1 from the nineties.
Moreover, McLaren has made the P1 even more ferocious and given it some extra BHPs and more refined aerodynamics with the price tag raised to £1.9million.
Porsche 911 GT3 RS and Cayman GT4:
Porsche has always manufactured highly tweaked versions of the 911. This year, the 911 GT3 RS would be unveiled which is the faster and lighter version of the 911 GT3, with a brand new engine and tweaked suspension and aerodynamics.
The Cayman, which everybody thinks is slow, will no longer remain one. The GT4 version would get a 3.8l flat six from a 911 Carrera S and would deliver close to 380 BHP to dispatch the car to 100 in under 4.4 seconds.
Suzuki iK-2 and iM-4:
Suzuki is bringing up their show stands with two new concepts which were highlighted by us a few days back. The first, the iK-2 is a B-segment hatchback that will reportedly slot above the Swift, while the iM-4 is a unique mini-4X4 that the firm says isn’t a replacement for the Jimny, but a crossover with genuine off-road ability.
Honda NSX and Civic Type R:
The long discontinued sports car from Honda, the NSX is confirmed to be beginning its new life at the Geneva next month. The NSX is said to be having a hybrid assisted high output V6 in the middle of the car with a power output of 400BHP (can be more) that would be delivered to the wheels via a Dual Clutch transmission. The front wheels would be connected to 2 independent motors for better handling and an overall increased power.
