Here Are Specs & Features of MG Cars in Pakistan

The MG Motors SUVs, HS and ZS-EV, are set to make an entry into the Pakistani market. Morris Garages (MG) Motor UK Limited is a British automotive company, now owned by Shanghai-based state-owned automotive SAIC Motor. Earlier this year, Javed Afridi, JW Auto Park owner, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the British carmaker to bring electric vehicles in Pakistan.

In one of his posts on Facebook page, Afridi hinted at the launch of MG HS and its electric variant ZS EV. In the post, Afridi has compared the two SUVs with other top vehicles in Pakistan. Afridi mainly compared MG Motors vehicles in speed and safety aspects. 

Exterior: 

Both HS and ZS EV come with LED Daytime Running Lights, Rear Parking Sensors, LED Centre Brake Light, and Bi-Function Project Headlights. Furthermore, these vehicles have rear and front aero wipers and electrically adjustable and body-color side mirrors.

The HS SUV comes with 18-inch diamond cut alloy rims, while ZS EV has 17-inch wheels.

Interior of MG Motors SUVs: 

The MG SUVs have driver’s 6-way adjustable seats, while passengers’ seats are 4-way adjustable. Furthermore, both cars have heated front seats. Meanwhile, HS comes with leather seats, while ZS-EV has both fabric and leather options.

The HS SUV has a 10.1-inch infotainment system, while ZS comes with an 8-inch screen. Both systems are compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. These two models also have options of 4-speaker and 6-speaker audio systems, along with Bluetooth connectivity. Moreover, the company has installed rear parking cameras in both models.  

Engine and Power Train: 

The HS comes with a 1.5L GDI Turbo-Charged engine, producing 160hp with maximum 250NM torque at 1,500-4,400RPM. Internationally, the car comes in four variants mated with a 6-speed manual and 7-speed auto transmissions.

Meanwhile, the ZS EV comes with a 44.5kwh battery, producing a maximum 141hp at 350NM torque. This car comes with an auto CVT transmission. According to the company, ZS can travel up to 262 kilometers in a single charge.

Safety and Key Features of MG Motors SUVs: 

Both models will come with six airbags, making it a very safe vehicle for driving and traveling. Furthermore, the car has an Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Hill Assist, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, Engine Immobilizer, and Anti-Rolling Protection.
