PAMA (Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association) has released the monthly sale and production figure of both cars and motorbikes. We have reported the sale figure of cars, and now in this article, we will report the sale figure of local bike manufacturers.

First on the list is Honda, the company has sold 92,207 units in October 2017 while in the preceding month of September it managed to sell 81,060 units of bikes in the local market. It means that the company has shipped 11,147 more bikes in October. And if we compare the sale figure of October 2017 with the same month of the preceding year then there is an increase of 14.57 percent on the MoM basis. It is to be noted here that the sale figure which PAMA has released for Honda is a combined data of all of its bike products.
Now coming to another local brand Suzuki, the company has performed well in its sales of cars. However, in the sale of bikes, the company managed to sell few more bikes in October 2017 while comparing the sale figure with September 2017. Suzuki sold 1,761 units in October 2017 and 1,736 in September 2017— in simple terms, the company managed to sell only 25 more bikes in October. On the other hand, DYL Motorcycles sold 538 motorbikes in October and 461 units in September 2017.

Other than Honda the company that performed well is United Auto Motorcycle, the company sold 37,951 bikes in October 2017 and 31,489 in the month of September. It means there is an increase of 20.52 percent in sales in the month of October and 28.86 percent increase on the MoM basis.
Ravi and Yamaha managed to sell 2,614 and 1,764 units in October 2017 respectively. Moreover, Road Prince Motorcycle Company sold 20,875 bikes in October 2017 and 20,145 in September.
Aside from two-wheelers, three-wheelers also performed well in the local market. Qingqi, United Auto Motorcycle, and Road Prince sold 2,622, 1,049 and 1,937 three-wheelers units respectively.
