After years of struggle with the government and policy makers, Yamaha Motor Company is finally ready to start selling its motorbikes in Pakistan.
A senior representative of Yamaha Pakistan revealed to PakWheels that Yamaha Pakistan is all set to launch its motorcycles in Pakistan. The official launch event will be held on April 27, 2015 in Karachi. Yamaha will set foot in the Pakistani market with its YBR 125 at first and add more bikes later on.

The YBR 125 is powered by a 125cc 4-stroke engine, which is also evident by its name, coupled with a 5-speed gearbox. The bike is equipped with features such as front disk brake, alloy rims, self-start, halogen headlamp, fuel gauge, gear indicator, etc. Moreover, the single cylinder engine will have an engine balancer that would help reduce the engine vibrations that are usually present in one-cylinder engines.
The YBR 125 is priced at 129,400 rupees and will be available in 3 colors; blue, red and black. Booking has already been started at various authorized dealers of Yamaha. You can book the bike by paying 10,000 rupees, while the remainder will be due when the bike is delivered. The deliveries will start 2 days after the official launch, i.e April 29, 2015.

Price is too much. 125 cc price should be around 70,000 not more than that. Its a poor person’s ride. Govt should reduce prices of bikes but instead its causing inflation in this country. Shame on govt.
it is shamefull. india makes all top brand motor bikes and cars locally and sells them cheap to indians. indian machines come loaded with all the bells and whistles and are sold at half the price then in pak.bc there leaders dont have businesses in saudia/uae/U.K/and so on. indians work for india while all pakistani people & govt works only for themselves.this is the diff.and thats why pakistan will always b the laughing stock of the world
