Honda Civic with Modulo Kit in Philippines

While we wait for the all-new 2016 Honda Civic to hit the showroom floors in Pakistan, Honda Philippines has launched variants of the tenth generation Civic with Modulo Kits. Starting in the Philippines, these kits are available for both the 1.8 E CV-T and RS Turbo CV-T options. In Pakistan too, Honda offers Modulo Kit for City. By paying PKR 49,800, you can get things like trunk spoiler, under spoilers, etc.

As with Honda City’s Modulo Kit in Pakistan, Civic’s Modulo variants only contain cosmetic changes to the car’s exterior and interior while the technical specifications remain constant. With the 2016 Civic’s Modulo Trims, you get the following exterior add-ons;

  1. Front under spoiler
  2. Rear under spoiler
  3. Side under spoiler
  4. Either a wing type or decklid type trunk spoiler
  5. Chrome fog light garnish
  6.  Chrome fender garnish
  7.  Chrome trim on door mirrors
  8.  17″ Matte Black Alloy Wheels
  9.  Chrome finished tail pipe
  10.  Door visors
  11.  Black colored mud guards
  12.  Body cover

Civic’s Modulo kit also adds some polish to the car’s interior;

  1. You can choose between either a LED illuminated side step garnish or a simple side step chrome trim
  2. Leather gear shift knob
  3. Metallic Sports Pedals
  4. Trunk tray
  5. Auto-dimming rear view mirror

While many see the Modulo Variants as an excellent option for those seeking sporty look, some argue that Honda is using Modulo Kits to squeeze out maximum sales from the existing model before launching the ‘real’ sports versions, the Civic TypeR and Civic Si.
