Same as in 2018, Toyota IMC is all set to introduce new vehicles in Pakistan next year in 2019 as well. The company is reported to be launching two new sedans; Vios and Bezza in the country.
PakWheels.com has been informed by a credible source that the company will be scrapping Corolla GLi in favor of 1300cc Vios, which is already available in different parts of the world including India and China. A local Toyota vendor told us that IMC has given them a deadline to manufacture parts of Vios by November end this year, and it is highly likely that the company will ship the car in Q1 of 2019, he added.
The upcoming Toyota Vios is expected to have a 1.3 liter DOHC 16 Valve with Dual VVT-i engine coupled with a manual or an auto transmission. Industry experts have asserted that Vios will diversify the obsolete and outdated sedan segment of the country.

It is a 1000cc sedan, which was launched by Malaysian automaker Perodua under license from Toyota’s subsidiary Daihatsu in 2016. The car as of now is available in different countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka etc.
Globally, it comes with two different engine options, 1KR-VE, and 1NR-VE. Furthermore, it is to be noted here that the car comes with both 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission. However, it is yet unknown that which engine and transmission option will come in Bezza.
In 2018, Toyota IMC introduced many new vehicles such as Toyota Fortuner and Revo with a diesel engine and recently it launched an entry-level SUV Toyota Rush as well.
